The pigs at Løvaas Gard are lives on several grazing areas, where the pigs eat grass, roots, bushes and anything else they find in the ground. The meat from the Mangalitsa pig breed has a unique marbling and has a very good taste.
The Mangalitsa pigs graze outside for 640 days and can go into their own house whenever they want.
From Haugsvær Gard we get "ordinary" pigs, also often referred to as "pink pigs".
His pigs can go in and out as they please.
That's why we choose to call them "Outdoor pigs"
